Love Money, it will Love You Back - 04-09-2008
Love Money, it will Love You Back Excerpt from "Life Beyond Limits:Infinity Belief®" According to science, the basis of all things, everything we see, is made up of matter which translates into energy. Theology and science have found common ground, when they agree that energy is light and light is the first basic element from which all things are created. I believe that the second and most powerful element is passion, from which all energy is driven. To help you to understand my thinking here, imagine the concept of electricity. Light is energy and like electricity it serves no purpose until you switch it on and connect the circuit. It is your intention or to a greater degree, passion for light that leads you to turn on the light. So what you have at your disposal is energy and it is the degree of your passion that determines what you create. The degree of passion is like a dimmer switch. Passion is a high-energetic transference. Looking at the diagram above and using the example of the dimmer switch, we liken hate to darkness and low energy and love to high energy and the brightest, whitest light. Your degree of passion determines a specific intensity of energy or light. Hate is the lowest energy of PASSION and love is the highest energy, but each is still PASSION, they are simply varying degrees. In other words, what happens when you place your passion into hate as opposed to love? While I’m certain you know the answer, I’m not taking any chances! Place your passion into hate and you will bring about darkness and as a consequence, you will lose your energy to it and hate shall overcome you. Place your passion into love and you will bring about light and it will give you an abundance of energy. Now I’m certain you understand the sort of outcomes at either end of the scale. But there’s more. As hate is low level light or darkness and love is bright, white light, understand that what I am referring to is again vibrational energy; remember light is a wave of energy. So there is another benefit in moving your passion toward the love-end of the scale, as I shall elaborate. As love is a high level of energy, a bright white light, it is a higher vibration. Hate on the other hand is low level light or darkness and is therefore a lower vibration. The other reason for aiming to move up the love-end of the scale is that the higher your vibration, the closer you come to your spiritual self and the greater the intensity of energy you bring to what you do. Can you begin to see why it is important to follow your passion by directing love to it, rather than hate? If you choose never to work for money and instead work toward your passion, guess what? Chances are you will have a lot of money. Now I haven’t yet discussed the middle position of the Passion Scale - ambivalence. Ambivalence is the position where love and hate coexist and here the scale is easily tipped either way. Living in the middle, between love and hate is no man’s land where you are easily swayed or influenced because you have not affirmed your intention either way. It is usually the position that people take as they turn off their emotions, disconnect from those around them or worse, they become non-authentic. In ambivalence you run the risk of living multiple lives, being non-authentic and clinging to anything that may hold the promise of momentary pleasure. People who live in the ambivalence-section of the scale are usually depressed and without purpose. The way out of this position is to make a commitment to set a favourable intention. Your level of passion is also the degree of intention, the intensity that you direct towards anything you do. In other words, the extent of what we create is dependent upon the degree of passion we direct toward the things we do. In darkness everything is hidden, while a 100 watt light globe will light up a room. However a 100 watt laser beam will cut through steel. Focus your energy into your passion and you unleash a powerful source. It will manifest your dreams. So many people have lived in ambivalence for so long that they are so used to denying their feelings and so their passions. Using a technique I call a white-light-meditation I assist my students to reveal their hidden passions. After doing so, they participate in an exercise where I encourage them to exchange what they experienced, their passion, with the person next to them to anchor their truth. The energy in the room dramatically elevates to amazing intensity. This is the only time I have to raise my voice to get their attention. They are completely in their passion, they go deaf and nothing else exists. This is an example of the power of passion or love. In Bob Doyle’s, Wealth Beyond Reason he says, “If I could instil ONE principle into your head forever, it would be the fact that you do not have to figure out how anything will happen. It will happen because you follow your intuition and passionate feelings. It will not feel like work and you will not have to suffer over it one bit.” To help you to gain a deeper understanding, I will summarise this insight through the Law of Creation. All you see around you is energy; the degree in which you shift this energy is dependent upon the degree of passion you direct to it. At the love-end of the passion scale, you will magnetise your thoughts and move heaven and earth to materialise your passion, because the energy from your thoughts attracts same energy. So get really excited about doing something specific and watch what happens. Feel your life transform and hear the observations of those around you begin to change, as you change. Now that you understand this basic Law of Creation hits you, your life will become much simpler and you will become more fulfilled. From this point on nothing will be complicated because you realise that if your life becomes complicated, it is in fact you that is complicating it! Moving to the love-end of the passion scale is when you choose to let go of fear and follow your heart; passion of course comes from your heart. In doing so, you intensify your energy. You will be able to work incredible hours with endless energy. Others will be astonished at your productivity and you will maintain your energy for as long as you are passionate. Of course you will sleep and rest, but in the morning you will leap out of bed with purpose. When you choose to follow your heart, the essence of your spirit, you bring an awesome power to what you do. If you are currently working in a job for which you have little love, notice how you lose energy so easily, just by thinking about it. This is one of the clearest examples I can offer. If you do what you love, your energy levels will rise. I recall working with a client who came to me for depression. I have a maxim; “Do more of what you love and you’ll love more of what you do.” It is pretty simple really. So I asked him to recite all the things he loved doing and score them from one to 10; 10 being the best of the best. It took a little while to get him into a higher vibration to find the answers, though soon we had a long list. Do you know that he had not done one of those things on that list for over 5 years! So I got him to diarise all the items on his list that scored 8 and above. After 3 sessions his depression completely disappeared and his energy levels were sky high. Life is simple; we just complicate it too much. Now that you know this, how do you love money so it will love you back? Can you recall when we discussed how everything that we can see is made up of matter? Well, money is also matter, so money is also energy. So, what happens when you love money? You alter your vibration to the same frequency as money and attract it into your life. You co-mingle with the energy of money. You will create the same vibration as money and you will find that it flows into your life much easier than before. As thoughts are energy, this also makes sense why people with negative associations to money and what it represents, never seem to have much of it. We will discuss this at length shortly. Vibrate success by talking, walking, acting and feeling your wealth in the present and you will have it delivered to you in the future. Right now you might think this sounds a bit far-fetched, but believe me, understanding this fundamental concept will change your financial future forever. Understand that choosing to remain fixed on your current beliefs is choosing to remain unchanged. Just as a knife is not dangerous but a person can make it so, it is not money that corrupts; it is you who chooses to be corrupted. Find an angry, poor person and give them wealth and all you will get is an angry wealthy person. However, the poor remain poor more often due to their beliefs about money. Understand that I am not criticising the poor, nor am I devoid of compassion. I am merely making the point about respecting money, making it important. If you do not think your friends or family are important, do you think they would be around for long? What do you think occurs if you don’t think money is important? Understand that it is often those who do not have wealth that find wealth so difficult to stomach. If you find it difficult to love money, it is likely that this attitude has its own language in your life; phrases such as; ‘filthy rich’, ‘money is the root of all evil’ and one of my personal favourites, ‘they’re just in it for the money’. So what are people doing working in jobs they hate? Isn’t that being ‘just in it for the money’? I once read a newspaper survey stating that 80% of employees disliked their jobs. That’s a lot of people who are ‘just in it for the money’. Believing that ‘money is the root of all evil’ or it is greedy to desire money is a belief that will financially work against you. This belief builds enormous cognitive barriers that will keep you from improving your wealth; in fact it will repel money. I’m sure you will agree that if you believe that money is bad, it is certainly not a healthy belief to assist in growing your wealth. This belief will have you sabotage yourself and provides excuses for not realising your dreams, particularly the ones that require money. So choose to think productively about money. Embrace money and use it to help you to get what you really choose from life. Help others along the way too if you can. Remember, money is a concept. It is merely paper and digits, it is not evil or bad, it is only what you believe it is. Get out of your way and focus upon success? The sun is always present, but sometimes we let the clouds get in our way. It is time to remove the clouds from your mind. Imagine money flowing easily and effortlessly into your life, like blood flowing into your heart. Before we continue however, I would like to make just one last point about money, while I suggest you should love money, I do not suggest that you love it above all else. I have watched people allow money to become their cancer by ignoring their families, compromising their ethics and using money to elevate their low self-esteem. To the extreme, I witnessed a once old friend allow money to rule him to such a degree that upon rising up in his career and increasing his wealth, his personality dissolved into arrogance, he became ruthless and vicious. He destroyed many careers along the way, but like a fish, they always rot from the head first. His thoughts about money over all else destroyed his mind as he severed his friendships over money. Love money, but love it with love in your heart and care and respect others. We all know that having more money than someone doesn’t mean you’re worth more. Any reasons that you recite easily as to why you are not currently wealthy are blocks that you have placed ahead of your prosperity. These blocks become lodged firmly between your current life and the life of your dreams and are why you limit your financial growth. This unconscious sabotage is a finite belief. It is limited thinking. Finite beliefs are negative, cognitive associations that stop you from moving forward in your financial life and will nail you to the spot, hindering your progress. You believe you can go no further and you cannot succeed due to whatever excuse you have fabricated. Finite beliefs assist you in finding reasons for not making it or for your inability to achieve your dreams. As we are creatures of habit, we soon become unaware of our finite beliefs; we become unconscious. For this reason it is important to question your thoughts, beliefs and actions. Listen to your conscious mind, become aware of your thoughts. Over the next few weeks listen to your thoughts, your inner-chatter or self-talk and take mental notes of your thoughts. Become aware of the beliefs that limits your growth. You may discover some limiting thoughts and once you realise they exist, you are halfway there to ceasing those thoughts and associated blocks. Below I have included a list of some examples of finite beliefs. Some of these may be holding you back. It would be helpful at this point to read through these statements and tick any that you believe are currently the reasons why you are not wealthy. It is important to be honest with yourself as you can only benefit from truth. The Reason why I am not wealthy (circle the reasons that apply to you). - I left school too early and I lack education.
- My family is poor/not well-off.
- The cost of living is too high. I can’t seem to get ahead.
- I can’t seem to save money.
- I’m not prepared to work the long hours to earn the big salary.
- It takes money to make money.
- I’m reluctant to play the game or play the politics.
- Wanting more money is greedy.
- I wasn’t born in the right neighbourhood.
- I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth.
- The rich are a bunch of snobs. Who’d want to be one anyway?
- If I made a lot of money, I’d only lose it again.
- I would lose my friends if I were wealthy.
- If I was meant to be wealthy, I’d win the lottery.
- I can’t be bothered trying, I’ll just fail anyway.
- There is only so much to go around and the rich have most of it.
(Add any of your beliefs that are not listed on the lines below) ¨ ……………………………………………………………………….. ¨ ……………………………………………………………………….. ¨ ……………………………………………………………………….. ¨ ……………………………………………………………………….. Below are some common finite beliefs and underneath them I have countered these using Infinity Belief®. You will notice that there is a common thread that runs through these. Can you guess what it is? 1. I left school too early; I lack the education I need to get ahead. Infinity Belief®: My knowledge continues to grow. I have all I need to succeed within me now. Success after all is a journey and I’m on track. Believing that a lack of education is holding you back is an excuse and you can use it conveniently to avoid success. Any knowledge that you need can be found. There are also many examples of people who have succeeded with limited or no formal education. 2. I pay too much tax, my bills just keep getting bigger and I just can’t seem to save. Infinity Belief®: I take total responsibility for my life. I budget and I stick to it. I have enough to pay all my bills and my savings keep growing. This demonstrates a limited belief that others are to blame, corporations are out to get you and life will never get better. Move beyond blame. 3. I don’t know what I want to do for a living. Infinity Belief®: I ask my higher self, my spirit to reveal my passion to me at the perfect time and now choose to relax and get out of my own way. Life is not perfect so what does it matter if you try something you like and find out later you like something more and move on to something else. Find your passion for life and through the experience you may realise your destiny. Trust that it will be revealed to you upon asking your higher self. However, realise that you will not find your destiny by living a less than passionate life. 4. It takes money to make money and I don’t have enough. Infinity Belief®: My wealth grows daily. I accept wealth and trust in the Universe to deliver a multitude of opportunities for wealth. Few of the wealthy people today were born wealthy. It is easy to blame your current situation, your parents and your heritage. 5. Wanting more money is greedy. Infinity Belief®: The more money I manifest, the more opportunity I have to live a full life and the more people I can help. Greed is a social perception, a judgement that allows society to build a wall of negative energy between what we know as ‘us’ and ‘them’ and the ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’. In reality, it is a poor excuse in the true sense of the phrase. How will you ever have money if you believe that wanting money is being greedy? If you resent what others have in any shape, manner or form, you will never have it. The statements above are some common sayings and beliefs. Holding these as true will not help you. They will however provide excuses or blocks that you can place in the path of wealth. A complete list of excuses, I am certain, will fill an entire book. Have you noticed how most of these finite beliefs pass on responsibility to someone or something other than you? So, what beliefs and values do not serve you? Which ones are holding you back? Uncover them, interrogate them and free yourself from the burden of finite beliefs by being conscious of them. From this point on know that if you choose to attract wealth, you must love money and it will love you back. Infinity Belief® – Tips and Truths 1. Our Universe is made up of only two elements; Love and Light. Light is Energy and Love determines the direction of this energy. 2. The degree of which you can shift energy is dependent upon the degree of love you direct at it. 3. Love money and you will attract more of it into your life. Vibrate success by talking, walking, acting and feeling your wealth in the present and you will bring it to you in the future. 4. Remove the clouds from your mind and your day will be sunnier. 5. Monitor your finite beliefs; take note of them and interrogate them. Want to learn how to grow your wealth and have a team of mentors that guide you there?
